Danish Lifestyle brand Georg Jensen has come to town adding its sleek design ethic to traditional Ming & Qing Dynasty (1368-1911) styling with The Georg. This Scandinavian influence also extends to the dining experience with Nordic-Asian dishes expertly constructed on Georg Jensen crockery.
The Georg consists of The Living Room, set under an open space glass atrium, The Restaurant, a Scandinavian take on international flavour driven cuisine, and The Gallery, located on the 2nd floor, showcasing timeless Georg Jensen pieces. All these elements all makes for a multi-purpose event space for group conveniently located on the banks of the Jade River, a small tributary flowing through the heart of Beijing.
"On my visit from the Hong Kong Office to meet the Beijing team in January 2016 I ventured out to try this new restaurant that has been creating a buzz among in the restaurant scene and it did not disappoint. A short stroll along the Jade River and in to the courtyard we were greeted by professional and attentive staff. The large atrium area immediately struck me as a perfect event venue for groups. The menu was creative, inventive and equally attractive covering a broad range of flavours and making it hard to choose! In fact each course myself and my three guests passed our plates around for the opportunity to have a taste of all the dishes that we ordered. On the serving of each course the chef came to the table to give the final touches...a very personal touch."
